Soldering of Aluminium

C-SOLDER (Type: SAC-1B)

 I.                    FEATURES OF TECHNOLOGY

Soldering of non-plated aluminium is possible only with aid of special highly acidic fluxes, however, environmental regulations are enforcing limitation of use of these chemicals making soldering more difficult. C-Solder is a tin based, lead-free alloy that allows fluxless soldering of aluminium at low temperature.

II.                  FEATURES OF THE PRODUCT

C-SOLDER tin-based lead-free low-temperature soldering alloys enable joining of various materials generally considered as difficult to solder, including aluminium and aluminium alloys, in both aluminium-other metal and aluminium-carbon arrangements. The soldering of aluminium, using C-Solder Type: SAC-1B, may be performed in air, at temperatures in the range from 300°C to 450°C with the use of classic soldering iron.
